In Colorado you never know if the weather folks are going to be accurate. There are lots of times when big snows are predicted only to fizzle out and not be much of anything. Well, this storm has not disappointed! We have about 8-10 inches on the ground now and reports are saying we should double that amount by tomorrow. Yippeeee! Most of the local schools were closed today and both Big Daddy and I came home from work early. Little Miss very much wanted to shovel the snow on the driveway and not wanting to deprive the poor child of something so special, we went out and let her have at it!
She was pretty good for a novice! However, the novelty quickly wore off and she figured out there was way more fun to be had without the shovel than with it! We left the heavy lifting to Big Daddy and played in the snow for awhile, then we all came inside and made white chicken chili and corn bread for dinner. The perfect dinner on a day like this!
